Starting in mid-December 2025, Phu Quoc will welcome a large number of tourists from Eastern Europe through charter flights from international airports in Bucharest (Romania) and Chisinau (Moldova).
According to Join UP!, the company operating the flights, charter services from Bucharest will run from December 14, 2025, to January 15, 2026, with one flight every 10 days.
From December 19, a series of charter flights from Chisinau to Phu Quoc will operate until mid-March 2026, with around 18 flights in total.
Gamzat Aliev, Join UP!’s Vietnam Destination Director, said the company plans to expand to other markets next year, including Poland, the Czech Republic, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and Slovakia, reinforcing Phu Quoc’s position as one of Asia’s top holiday destinations.
He noted that if Phu Quoc maintains competitive costs and continues investing in infrastructure in the coming years, the island will attract a more stable and growing flow of visitors from Eastern Europe.
Price stability and ongoing development, he added, are essential to sustainable growth.
In Phu Quoc, travel packages for Eastern European tourists typically last 10 nights, combining stays at upscale hotels and resorts with visits to major attractions.
Their itineraries often include popular activities such as exploring VinWonders theme park, taking the Hon Thom cable car, watching the “Kiss of the Sea” show, and experiencing local culture at the night market.
