The Hanoi Autumn Festival 2024 welcomed over 50,000 domestic and international visitors, according to a report by the Hanoi Promotion Agency (HPA).
The three-day festival, running September 20-22, attracted 12 provinces and cities, 17 districts and towns across Hanoi, and associations and clubs of tourism businesses, showcasing the unique values of Vietnam’s traditional craft villages and cultural heritage, with a special focus on Hanoi.

During the event, tourism businesses introduced and promoted Hanoi’s signature autumn tourism products. This year’s festival also featured cultural spaces with models of Hanoi’s heritage sites and landmarks, allowing visitors to take memorable photos and further promoting the city’s culture to tourists.
Nguyen Tran Quang, Deputy Director of HPA, emphasized that the Hanoi Autumn Festival is a key event to promote the city’s culture and tourism to both domestic and international visitors.
“This activity contributes to positioning Hanoi’s tourism brand and enhancing its appeal during the peak season for international visitors,” he said.
“The Hanoi Autumn Festival 2024, themed ‘Hanoi autumn – a historic season’, is one of the city’s signature events celebrating the 70th anniversary of Hanoi’s Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 – October 10, 2024),” he said.
